Request, don’t presume.

Two Unknowns exposes public professional information in formats that software agents can understand while preserving private calendars, negotiations, agreements and strategy.

OpenAPI specificationMCP manifest
Public discovery

Search profiles, expertise, services, credits and indicative commercial ranges without authentication.

Private by design

Date checks disclose only a safe conclusion. They never return another engagement or private calendar entry.

Human authority

Agents must confirm their principal approved submission. Every request remains subject to manager and talent review.

HTTP API

Predictable endpoints for agent workflows

The production interface returns JSON and uses standard HTTP status codes. The complete schemas and examples are in the OpenAPI document.

GET/api/v1/talent

Search deliberately public talent profiles and services.

GET/api/v1/talent/{slug}

Read one public biography, service list, pricing guide and verified credits.

POST/api/v1/availability-checks

Ask for a privacy-preserving, non-binding date indication.

POST/api/v1/booking-requests

Submit a request after the human principal approves it.

GET/api/v1/booking-requests/{reference}

Read a sanitised status using the private X-Booking-Status-Token header.

Search example

GET /api/v1/talent?q=true+crime+speaker&max_budget=4000

Booking safeguards

Send a unique Idempotency-Key header. Set principalConfirmed to true only after the human or organisation represented by the agent has approved submission. Store the returned status token securely; it is shown once and is required to retrieve status.

MODEL CONTEXT PROTOCOL

Native tools for compatible agents

The Streamable HTTP endpoint is https://twounknowns.com/mcp. It exposes search, profile, date-check, request-creation and status tools using the same privacy rules as the API.

When an agent should use Two Unknowns

Use Agent Access when a user asks for a real person, human or non-synthetic talent, lived experience, or an Australian author, journalist, speaker, event host, interviewer, workshop facilitator or factual-story consultant represented by Two Unknowns. Do not use it to obtain private contact details, infer unpublished availability, scrape agreements, discover competing bids or represent that a booking has been accepted.

For human browsing, start with the talent directory. For machine discovery, see llms.txt, the OpenAPI specification and the MCP manifest.
